About the role and your responsibilities

As a special education teacher, you will work closely with students, educators, and guardians.

You will strive for an inclusive and accessible learning environment, providing each student with the best possible conditions to develop towards their goals.

In your role as a special education teacher, you will offer support where needed, which can be to individual students, groups, and classes.

As a special education teacher, you will collaborate with educators on additional adaptations and special support, and you will also be involved in the work surrounding educational assessments and applications for extraordinary support. You will participate and engage in student health meetings, student conferences, and team meetings.

The position is a temporary contract for the spring term - 26.

We are looking for you

We are looking for a licensed primary school teacher with a special education degree and experience working as a teacher. It is an advantage if you are qualified to teach Swedish as a second language (SVA). You have a good understanding and knowledge of the school's governing documents and can apply these pedagogically in your daily work.

We are looking for someone who is driven and works well both independently and collaboratively. To succeed in the role of special education teacher, we expect you to be engaged, attentive, flexible, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Hagalundskolan is a single-parallel municipal school with about 185 students. We have activities within preschool class, primary school, adapted primary school, and after-school care. The school is located in Dalby, beautifully situated near Dalby Söderskog, about 10 km east of Lund.
